As individuals most of us have a continuous desire to be better than who we were yesterday. We work on our personal and professional skills to keep up with the pace of life. Despite our achievements, we constantly feel there is room for more as a part of our individuality. Here are a few tips to feel more like YOU and get better at it day by day.

1. Have a purpose
We might not have found our purpose in life yet, but all of us have the potential to find it. The purpose can be as simple as raising the children right or pursuing a certain career or it could be among any endless range of possibilities.
Occasionally spend some time with yourself to know yourself better. Here, consistency is the key. Observe what you are passionate about – could be a type of books, art, skills, people, service to humanity or anything that brings a spark in you. You will obtain more meaning in life if you have a clear sense of purpose.
Like many of us if you are having a difficult time finding your purpose, instead of knowing what you want in life, if you are clear about what you do not want will also take you to the right place.
2. Create a thriving environment around you
It is always a good practice to create a thriving and helpful environment around you. Be helpful and compassionate towards the people around you. This will increase the overall positivity in your circle. Of course, there are times when we have our priorities already set and we cannot meet the needs of others. An empathetic conversation can help here.
3. Spend time with yourself un-deviated by social influence
It is difficult to escape from social influence in this world of Internet and social media. We are highly impacted by the information we consume through various social sources. While this noise around us is highly overpowering, we should not risk ignoring a voice that comes from within. Try not to lose touch with yourself and regularly spare some time to reflect on your individualistic goals and aspirations. We are all wonderfully unique.
4. Take care of yourself
Take out some time in a day or week where you can contribute something good for the well-being of your physical health, mind, and finances. For example, as a part of your daily/weekly routine keep aside a few minutes for a simple workout, breathing exercise, upskilling yourself, or keeping a check on your expenses and savings. You can use reminders till you develop it as a habit.
5. Believe in Yourself
It is unrealistic to say that achieving life goals is always straightforward. It requires immense grit and perseverance to see your efforts bloom. Every experience introduces a learning and also every failure introduces a new opportunity. Remember, the sun rises every morning regardless of whatever is happening across the world. Have a strong belief in yourself and give your best.
Your journey within is as important as your journey outside in this world. Experience the joy of finding yourself 🙂
